  • Most UG programs require completion of Class 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board. Admission to many UG programs is based on merit in the last qualifying examinations. 
  • For PG admission, A bachelor’s degree is typically required for admission, such as in  MA, M.Sc, M.Com, and MCA.

IGNOU UG Admission 2025

The Admission process for UG programs offered at IGNOU has started and the last date to submit the form is 15 July 2025 for the July session 2025. The eligibility for UG admissions at IGNOU requires candidates to have finished 10+2 or its equivalent. 

Candidates can apply online at the web portal ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in by filling the application form and uploading documents. A ₹300 application fee is also required for filling the application form which is non refundable. Popular UG courses include BA, BCom, BSc, BCA, and BBA, with eligibility requiring 10+2 completion. IGNOU PG Admission 2025

IGNOU PG Admission begins on 06 June 2025 and ends on 15 July 2025 for the July session. 30 for session 2025-26. Candidates with bachelor degree in relevant subjects from a UGC-approved university can apply for PG programs and the admission procedure is fully based on merit. 

Interested candidates can apply online before the deadline through the official web portal ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in by submitting the application form, uploading required documents, and paying a ₹500 fee. 

Popular PG courses include MA, MCom, MCA, MBA, and MSw, with eligibility requiring a relevant undergraduate degree. Program fees generally range from ₹6,000 to ₹27,000 per year.

IGNOU Admission Form 2025

IGNOU admission form has released for the July 2025-26 session at the official web portal ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in on 06 June 2025, and the last date to apply is 15 July 2025.  

While filling out an admission form, Students need to pay an application fee of INR 200 to 300 for traditional courses and 1000 for BEd & PhD courses. The payment will be completed through various gateways such as UPI, Net Banking, Debit Card, etc.
