Anna University Distance Education: Anna University distance education has opened the admission window for the academic session 2025-26 for MBA, MCA, and MSc (CS) programs. Anna University distance education is inviting candidates to get enrolled in MBA, MCA, or MSc (CS) program for the session 2025-26. Students will get to apply online until an expected last date of 11 August 2025. To fill out the online application form applicants must start by downloading the official prospectus of the university. After downloading the prospectus applicants must go through all the details carefully. Now, students can fill out the application form and pay a registration fee that range for INR 650.

The mode of payment available at the university are credit/debit card, UPI, NEFT, RTGS, and so on. Anna University Distance Education Eligibility 

To be eligible for admission one must match all the basic eligibility criteria required by the Anna University distance education. The eligibility criteria might be different for each specialization or programs. Anna University distance education selects students based on the marks obtained by them in the respective exam. Here are some of the points that candidates needs to fulfill while enrolling are given below: 

• For taking admission to MBA or MSc (CS) program applicants have to hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum qualifying examination. 
• Admission to the MCA program is offered to those candidates who hold a BCA degree or any relevant stream with at least 45% marks. 
• There is no maximum age required to take admission while a minimum age required is 17 years.

Anna University Distance Education PG Admission 

Anna University currently offers admission for some of the postgraduate programs such as MBA, MCA, and MSc in Computer Science. Applicants can complete these PG programs in 2 years and the maximum duration offered to the candidate is 4 years. The university offers semester-based examinations. 11 August 2025 is the final date for the submission of the online application form for the current session. 

To get enrolled one must hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant stream with a minimum qualifying marks of 45% to 55%. Additionally, applicants have to appear in an entrance examination like TANCET and DEET MBA. An average course fee for all PG programs set by the Anna University CDE is INR 18650. Candidates also need to pay a registration fee of INR 650.

Step 2: “The ‘Apply Now’ option will appear on the university homepage; click on it to begin your application.”

Step 3: Enter all the details like candidates full name, date of birth, ID proof, phone number, and email ID. 

Step 4: Now, click on the Save button to get registered. 

Step 5: Students will receive the applicant Id and password on their registered email Id. 

Step 6: To sign in, enter the applicant ID and password. 

Step 7: Fill out all the sections carefully such as personal details, educational details, documents, and more. 

Step 8: Move forward and upload all the scanned documents in the specific size as mentioned. 

Step 9: Now, make a payment of the application fee using UPI, Demand Draft, RTGS, NEFT and others. 

Step 10: Check all the details carefully and make changes if required. 

Step 11: Now, click on the Submit Button for the final submission. 

Step 12: Download the application form for future reference.
